Cricket: Australia remain a long way behind Bangladesh in their Test match at Darwin’s TIO Stadium, with WA all-rounder Cam Green figuring as their last hope.
Stunningly, the all-conquering hosts will resume still 67 runs in arrears of the tourists, having lost four second-innings wickets yesterday.
Green made his way to 43 not out at stumps, having had a huge stroke of luck when an inside edge which deflected off his thigh pad and onto the stumps failed to dislodge the bails.

Green is on strike on 85 as he eyes a ton, but more importantly, eyes batting for the entire session to breathe life back into the match.

That’s lunch after a Australia produced a first session which at least ensured they would avoid an innings defeat.
And while Cam Green is closing in on a third Test century, having made his way to 85 not out as part of a budding partnership with Mitchell Starc (14 not out), the result looks inevitable.
Bangladesh now trail by 15 but are well and truly in the driver’s seat in Darwin.
