Australia’s favourite gardener Costa Georgiadis is set to venture to the South West in celebration of all things flowers and gardens as the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival returns for 2022.

The Live Lighter Nannup Flower and Garden Festival will be taking over the South West town for three weekends as the festival marks the festival’s 25th anniversary.

The festival will be taking place between August 13 and 28 with the program set to feature plenty of exciting activities, workshops and presentations.

While organisers are yet announce the full program of events, it has been confirmed that Georgiadis will be “showering Nannup with his magic” during the festival’s first weekend on August 13 and 14.

Georgiadis will be joined by chef Guy Jeffreys, garden guru Deryn Thorpe, artist and permaculture educator Brenna Quinlan, and permaculture advocate and musician, Charlie Mgee.

Following the incredible popularity of the Floral Mandala in 2020, and the Decay of Decadence in 2021, Lara Rose Bos will also be returning for the festival, bringing along nine florists to transform the Town Hall into a “botanical wonderland” to mark the festival.

Market stalls will also line the main street throughout the festival, along with numerous displays around the town, open gardens, garden tours and cooking demonstrations.

The town will also be in full bloom with a record 25,000 tulip bulbs planted.
