Jamaica have officially qualified for the next round of the women’s 3x3 basketball with their tight win over Fiji.

The 17-15 victory came down to the wire, but they will take the choccy’s regardless and move forward with their campaign.

England proved to be no match for the Diamonds, but South Africa could prove to be a formidable foe.

Their Netball squad just beat Tonga 96-42 ahead and got up against Malawi on yesterday with a 65-44.

Australia will face the South African squad on Wednesday but still look clear favourites to run the table as they aim to go back-to-back with Commonwealth golds.

The Diamonds take on Malawi tomorrow with their final pool opponent on Thursday being Ireland.

Despite suffering the two losses, the Tonga team should be commended for appearing in their first ever Commonwealth Games in the Netball.

Jesse Moore is hungry for more medals after becoming Australia’s first men’s individual all-around medallist at the Commonwealth Games in 16 years.

Moore shook off a shaky start to claim bronze as a near-capacity crowd at Glasgow International Arena erupted into cheers when Scotland’s Reuben Ward won gold in the final.

Ward secured the all-around title with a combined score of 79.650 points across the six apparatuses, while Canada’s Felix Dolci trailed by 0.200 points to take silver.

She secured India’s first gold for the 2026 Commonwealth Games and broke records while she was at it.

Clean jerking 105kg and snatching a record setting 85kg for a total of 190kg to secure her third consecutive Commonwealth Games gold.

During the excitement of Jesse Moore’s bronze medal performance there was another horrible injury in the gymnastics arena.

Singapore youngster Jovi Loh had a nasty incident on the parallel bars, attempting a double front half dismount.

Failing to stick the landing, he immediately dropped to the floor in pain clutching at his knee - needing to be stretchered off the mat.

It follows the gruesome fall that England’s Gabriel Langton suffered on day one - needing to be taken to hospital.

It was an ugly game early, but Australia found their rhythm late to remain undefeated with a 21-11 win over Guyana.

The Gangurru’s couldn’t buy a bucket early, and rising star Jonah Antonio’s hot form from yesterday nowhere to be seen.

Scores were tied 6-6 at the first break, but Perth Wildcat Jesse Wagstaff took charge and dropped a deep bucket as play resumed to overcome shooting woes.

Going back to basics paid off for the Aussies, with Wagstaff setting an easy pick and roll for Jared Bairstow.

Guyana big man Kevin Mickle responded with authority, using two hands for a commanding dunk.

Despite his age, elder statesmen Wagstaff was relentlessly hustling on defence while setting screens to give his shooter Antonio more opportunities.

Australia were put on their toes early, but the class prevailed down the stretch with Guyana running out of steam.

Antonio got over his cold steak sunk the two final buckets to bury the game, finishing with eight points off 4/10 from deep.

Wagstaff had seven points and grabbed six rebounds to help stop the early bleeding.

The Gangurru’s face the Cayman Island in their final pool game tomorrow morning at 3.20am, looking to finish their perfect run heading into the bracket.
